Why this site exists

The Irish scene has always run on discretion — which is right, but it means that curious, respectful couples spend months finding information that should take an evening. Meanwhile, the vacuum gets filled by scam events, dead forums and advice written for the UK that doesn't match how Ireland works. This site exists to fix both problems: honest editorial guides for people finding their way in, and a discreet, vetted email list that carries real event information the way the scene has always shared it — quietly, to people who asked.

What we are not

We host no profiles, no photos, no messaging, no directory of members. We are not a club and we sell no tickets. We publish guides, and we forward vetted event information to a double opt-in list. That's the whole model, and its narrowness is deliberate: the less we hold, the less there is to worry about.

Our standards

Every event shared with the list is checked first: a named, contactable organiser; clear consent and conduct rules; transparent pricing; and a track record or verifiable references. Anything that fails those tests doesn't go out, however good the commission would have been — because the list only has value while it can be trusted.
